Use only mild soaps. . Vitamin A - The lack of vitamin A in your diet can also cause your skin to be dry. . Illness - Medications taken while ill can cause dry skin. . Sunlight - Sunlight can draw out moisture from your skin. Use a sun blocking moisturizer. There are may causes to the common condition of dry skin. However most of the time all that is needed is prevention of these causes, when possible, and some moisturizers.
